Short Love Poems
Tears In A Bottle

I'm collecting my tears in a bottle.

It's a pretty big bottle indeed.

When the bottle's full and tightly capped,

I'll toss it out to the sea.

In this bottle there's tears of frustration,

fear, loss and sorrow to see.

When this bottle is thrown in the water,

there floats away a part of me.

In this bottle my heart gets shriveled,

and my pride slowly withers and dies.

In this bottle I place all my sadness,

and the pain you can't see in my eyes.

So I'm collecting my tears in a bottle.

Trying to forget the pain inside.

Now I watch my bottle of tears float away,

carrying every teardrop I've ever cried.
